(PatriotHeadline.com)- In what appears to be yet another attempt to pander to Black American voters, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden incorrectly claimed on Thursday that Thomas Edison didn’t invent the light bulb and that it was actually a black man. During a speech at a church, Biden spouted fake history saying, “People that’s, which, that which is different.”
Yes, he couldn’t even finish that short sentence properly.
“We gotta, for example, why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes?” he asked.
Well, we do.
“A black guy invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison,” he claimed.
If you don’t believe it, you can watch him do it in the footage below. And he appears to be deadly serious about it. Who knew we were all so wrong about this important piece of history for so long?

It’s not just slightly wrong, but totally wrong. Historians agree that Thomas Edison was the inventor of the incandescent light bulb, and the administration in which Biden served as vice president agreed with it too. In 2013, Obama’s Department of Energy wrote that Edison was the inventor of the light bulb and that it was first demonstrated in 1835.
“When Edison and his researchers at Menlo Park came onto the lighting scene, they focused on improving the filament – first testing carbon, then platinum, before finally returning to a carbon filament,” the department wrote. “By October 1879, Edison’s team had produced a light bulb with a carbonized filament of uncoated cotton thread that could last for 14.5 hours. They continued to experiment with the filament until settling on one made from bamboo that gave Edison’s lamps a lifetime of up to 1,200 hours.”
So what is it, Biden? Was the Department of Energy racist under your administration, or are you lying now?
