(PatriotHeadline.com) – 78-year-old socialist Democratic presidential candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders, has flip-flopped on his previous commitment to releasing his full medical records.
I wonder if it has something to do with that heart attack he had in October?
Attempting to walk back his promise and justify his doing so, Sanders said, “We have released, I think, quite as much as any other candidate has…We released two rather detailed letters from cardiologists and we released a letter that came from the head of the U.S. Congress medical group.”
I’m sure readers will join us in wishing Sanders a full recovery after his recent heart trouble, but that doesn’t mean voters shouldn’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. A 78-year-old man who has just had a heart attack telling potential voters that everything is fine and they should trust him is a bit of a stretch.
So why, exactly, did Sanders promise to release his full medical records “before the votes are cast” in the first place? The Vermont senator said it was “the right thing to do,” but he didn’t do it.
Anyone would think he was trying to hide something.
Back when he made the promise, Sanders told CNN, “people do have a right to know about the health of a senator and someone running for president. At the appropriate time, we’ll make all the medical records public for you or anyone else who wants to see them.”
The Hill even published a video, in which a reporter asks Sanders if he planned to release his medical records sooner than planned.
Sanders said, without hesitation, “We’ll release them, we always planned to release them. And we have more medical records obviously now, and we will release them at the appropriate time.”
Question: “Plan to release your medical records sooner than originally planned now?”

I guess the appropriate time is never!
Recently, the tone has changed. According to the Daily Beast, the Sanders campaign press secretary Briahna Joy Gray said the requests from the media to see the senator’s medical records with comparable to “birtherism.”
