US Reaching Record Highs In COVID-19 Cases As Virus Mutates

The COVID-19 crisis in the US is turning a dark corner. On Wednesday, the United States recorded 170K new coronavirus cases, the second-highest daily figure so far, with the nation now having recorded over 11.5 million cases with more than a quarter of a million reported deaths.

Many of these deaths coming from nursing homes. RT America’s Trinity Chavez has the story. After multiple discoveries of mutations from the original strain, hopes of a vaccine may be blunted.
