UK Sets New Record for Illegal Migrant Boat Landings

(PatriotHeadline.Com)- It’s not just the United States dealing with a crisis of illegal aliens arriving over the border, the United Kingdom is seeing a similar problem on its southern shores.

Nigel Farage, the man President Trump calls “Mr. Brexit” and the leader of the Brexit Party, recently reported that the increasing number of illegal aliens arriving in England after sailing across the English Channel from France is the “beginning of an invasion.” The number of people arriving on England’s shores recently hit a new daily record, despite the Conservative government promising to tackle the problem head-on.

Last Friday, the British Home Office confirmed that some 145 migrants arrived on the shores of Dover, England’s biggest port town, and were apprehended by the Border Force. That’s the biggest number of people apprehended by Britain’s Border Force in a single day. In the 24 hours following, a further 82 people were arrested, making a two-day total of 227 illegal immigrants apprehended at the UK’s border.

Much of the blame can be placed on France, which doesn’t appear to be doing enough to apprehend the people leaving its shores from many of the camps set up in and around Calais. For years, the French authorities did nothing about the “Jungle,” a camp of illegal immigrants where thousands of people were living, waiting for the day they could reach England’s shores.

In a video recorded in Dover, Farage said, “As I have predicted, a record number of illegal immigrants have been taken into Dover.”

“All along the coast there are many more…This is the beginning of an invasion,” he added.

During an episode of his popular LBC Radio show, Farage said that, at some point, the British government needs to “get a grip” of the problem and that “there is nothing good about what is going on in the English Channel.”

Recently, Nigel Farage was warned by the British police for breaking social distancing rules. Farage traveled from his home to Dover to film a short film about the crisis on the border. It prompted Farage to file a formal complaint with the authorities.

“Two police officers just knocked n my door to advise me on essential travel,” he wrote. “They had received a complaint that I had been to Dover to report on the illegal migrant scandal taking place. What a total waste of time and money.”
