(PatriotHeadline.Com)- President Donald Trump skipped a White House coronavirus briefing for the first time on Saturday, following several fake news media reports about comments he made during the hours-long briefings. Until now, the president has appeared in the White House press briefing room every single day to take questions and discuss the steps being taken by the government to reduce the spread of the virus.
Trump offered an insight into his reasoning for skipping the conference on Twitter, asking, “What is the purpose of having White House News Conferences when the Lamestream Media asks nothing but hostile questions, & then refuses to report the truth or facts accurately.”
What is the purpose of having White House News Conferences when the Lamestream Media asks nothing but hostile questions, & then refuses to report the truth or facts accurately. They get record ratings, & the American people get nothing but Fake News. Not worth the time & effort!

“They get record ratings, & the American people get nothing but Fake news. Not worth the time & effort!” he added.
Trump prepared the media for a change on Friday, when he gave an update but left early without taking any questions. Axios also published a report on Friday suggesting the president was planning on scaling back the daily briefings.
In recent weeks, the briefings have become opportunities for media pundits to attack the president. A senior adviser to the president reportedly warned him that appearing in front of the media every day is “not helping him,” given the hostility.
Press hostility hit a new low last week when left-wing news outlets reported that the president told Americans to drink bleach. Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden parroted the lie on Twitter, saying, “I can’t believe I have to say this, but please don’t drink bleach.”

He didn’t have to say it, and the president didn’t say it either. The media twisted comments made by the president about the possible effectiveness of using disinfecting agents in the body and UV light to kill the virus. President Trump did not advise Americans to drink or inject bleach or any other disinfectant product.
Is it any wonder he doesn’t want to do the daily briefings any more?
