Police Begin Investigation Into Ilhan Omar Voter Fraud Allegations

(PatriotHeadline.com)- Following the release of undercover footage by Project Veritas this week, which appeared to show supporters of Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar discussing illegal ballot harvesting activity, the Minneapolis Police Department announced that they have begun “looking into” the “allegations of voter fraud.”

The footage appeared to show how the Omar campaign may have used illegal ballot harvesting to secure her place as the Democratic nominee and to win the election in her district. Project Veritas footage showed how activists were targeting elderly voters and immigrant communities, asking them to hand over their ballot papers without even filling them in.

On Twitter, the Minneapolis Police Department confirmed that the allegations of voter fraud in the state were “being evaluated.”

“MPD is aware of the allegations of vote harvesting,” the tweet said. “We are in the process of looking into the validity of those statements. No further information is available at this time on this.”

The video published by Project Veritas also appears to show the brother of Jamal Osman, a Minneapolis city council member, admitting obtaining ballots for Osman. Liban Mohamed said in a video he published on Snapchat, “Just today we got 300 for Jamal Osman.”

“I have 300 ballots in my car right now…Numbers don’t lie. You can see my car is full. All these here are absentee ballots. Look, all these are for Jamal Osman.”

Project Veritas also filmed an anonymous former political worker in Minneapolis saying that Oma’’s campaign deputy district director, Ali Isse Gainey, was not just aware of ballot harvesting in the area but was even coordinating it from elderly people. Gainey was accused of coordinating the taking of ballots from a housing complex in the city called Charles Horn Towards, and ballots were said to have been taken from the elderly residents there before the August 8 Minnesota primary.

President Donald Trump responded to the news, describing it as “totally illegal” and saying that he hopes the United States Attorney in Minnesota has it under review.

But I thought mass mail-in voting was meant to be…safe?
