At the first women’s downhill skiing race of the season, the event was overshadowed as Austrian skier Nicole Schmidhofer lost control and crashed after the final jump on her run. Swiss skier Corinne Suter ended up taking first in the event, the first skier to win the downhill and the super-G since Lindsay Vonn in 2015. RT America’s Regina Ham reports.
