(PatriotHeadline.com)- Failed presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton proved once again just how far she’s willing to go to attack Republicans, claiming that the GOP is attempting to stop people from voting by objecting to an extremist bill known as H.R.1.
Clinton claimed on Twitter that the Republican Party is “unwilling to change its policies to appeal to more people” and that it is “doubling down on trying to stop voters from voting,” and included a link to a piece from the far-left New York Times.
The piece claimed that the GOP was drafting “best practices” for restricting voting, but in reality, the piece was referring to policies drafted by Republican legislators to ensure that voters can cast their ballots with confidence that their votes will not be diluted by illegitimate votes.

So it’s doubling down on trying to stop voters from voting. https://t.co/KyY3w8q54r

“Party leaders and their conservative allies are planning to export successful statutory language from one state to others, like the text of Alabama’s voter ID law. They are also drafting what they describe as “best practices” principles for completely new legislation, with the impetus often coming from outside groups like the Heritage Foundation,” The New York Times piece reported.
It comes after the Republican State Leadership Committee put together a new election integrity commission which is co-chaired by Michigan State Senator Ruth Johnson and Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill. The committee will work to strengthen election integrity across state legislatures all over the country and was formed in response to a series of serious allegations of election fraud and misconduct in the November 2020 election.
While Clinton alleges that Republicans are trying to make it harder to vote, Congressional Democrats are pushing for the controversial H.R.1. legislation, or the “For the People” bill, which would punish states if they fail to implement unsolicited, mass mail-in voting. The bill would also aim to implement same-day registration across all states and make permanent the temporary measures put in place to help people vote during a pandemic.
In short, the bill makes it easier for people to commit fraud and vote when they do not have a legal entitlement to vote.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer echoed Clinton’s evil and slanderous claims on Wednesday during a Senate Rules and Administration Committee hearing on the proposed legislation, saying that laws that strengthen election integrity are “one of the greatest threats we have to modern democracy in America.”
If you look up the term “gaslighting” in the dictionary, you’ll see a picture of Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer.
