Fewer Than 1 In 4 Americans Believe Nov Election Will Be “Free And Fair”

(PatriotHeadline.com)- A new poll shows that President Donald Trump isn’t the only one who thinks the November election is at risk from fraud and interference from bad-faith actors. The poll, from Yahoo News and YouGov, found that only 22% of Americans believe that the election will be “free and fair.”

That means fewer than one in four Americans believe the election will produce honest results, and that there will not be interference from Democrats or criminals who want to influence the results of the election.

The YouGov survey was taken between September 15 and 17, and it even found that Democrats think something nefarious will happen in the election too. More Trump supporters, however, believe that the election will be undermined in a way that will hurt the president.

“Half of Trump supporters (50 percent) say the election will not be free and fair; more than a third of Biden supporters (37 percent) agree. Overall, the number of Americans who say the election will not be free and fair (46 percent) is more than twice the number who say the opposite. Another third (32 percent) say they’re not sure what to expect,” Yahoo reported.

The report explained how just 22% said that they think the election will be free and fair. And, when asked if they believe election security experts who say the election can’t be rigged, 50% of respondents said they don’t believe them and just 19% said they do.

Faith in the American electoral system seems to be at an all-time low.

YouGov also found that some 60% of respondents specifically believe that the election will be subject to fraud.

While Republican Trump supporters are concerned about the fact that voter rolls are hugely out of date, which would result in potentially millions of homes being sent ballots for people who no longer live there, Democrats seem to think the Russians will be involved.

The Hill reported that Senate Democrats are pushing the conspiracy theory that Russia is “waging a disinformation campaign aimed at disrupting the 2020 election.” There is no evidence this is happening, however, and the claims that President Donald Trump colluded with the Russians in 2016 have been proven wrong by a lengthy FBI investigation.

What’s more likely…a Russian disinformation campaign or ballot harvesting and electoral fraud? You probably know the answer…
