(PatriotHeadline.com)- A supporter of President Donald Trump in California told FOX 11 that a postal service worker defaced her mail, writing “BLM” on it before delivering to her home. It’s significant not just because a postal worker defaced mail, but because the woman displayed a Trump flag outside of her house. It suggests the incident was targeted and explicitly political.
And we’re meant to believe the Democrats when they say that we can trust the postal service to do properly handle tens of millions of ballot papers nationally if they get their way in implementing mail-in voting?
FOX 11 protected the woman’s identity over fears of a backlash, given how violent the left can get when people publicly disagree with them. The outlet reported how Donna’s home camera systems show a mail carrier walking to her house, holding the mail in his hand as he scribbled “BLM” on it.
“I’m just curious, how many people in this whole neighborhood have a Trump sign? And if they do, they probably got BLM written on their mail also,” she said.
The incident was confirmed by Donna’s neighbor who told the outlet that it is “100% sure.”
FOX 11 confirmed it by contacting the post office. A spokesperson told the news outlet that they were aware of the incident and disappointed by it.
“We are disappointed to see the actions of our employee, and apologize to the customers affected by this incident,” a spokesperson said. “The Postal Service is investigating the matter and will take appropriate action to ensure this does not occur again.”
Defacing mail is an offence. According to the U.S. code, a person cannot steal, take, abstract, or obtain any mail from a post office, letter box or otherwise who is not the authorized recipient.
“Whoever steals, takes, or abstracts, or by fraud or deception obtains any letter, postal card, package, bag, or mail, or any article or thing contained therein which has been left for collection upon or adjacent to a collection box or other authorized depository of mail matter” will be fined or imprisoned.
Can you imagine the chaos if millions of people were automatically sent mail-in ballots? Not only would the out-of-date voter rolls mean people who moved out of the state or died are sent ballots to their old homes, but politically motivated postal workers may get away with all sorts of fraud.
