Busy Phillips Says Abortion Is To Thank For Her Successful Career

(PatriotHeadline.com) – There are times in most parents’ lives when they think, sometimes aloud, of what they would have done or could have accomplished had they not had kids.

Sure, most of the time, these are tongue-in-cheek jokes, but it’s obviously true: Without kids, there is more time to focus on yourself and your career. It’s a very selfish viewpoint, but true nonetheless.

However, these same parents that say that would be quick to follow it up by saying they wouldn’t change anything for the world — that they were more than happy to give up that life to have children who they love and adore.

Apparently, don’t count actress Busy Phillips in that mix.

At a pro-abortion rally last week outside the Supreme Court, Phillips spoke about a 14-year-old girl from Ohio who was recently denied an abortion. The actress complained about “strangers and their own personal beliefs were going to keep this little girl from living the life she was dreaming of. Smug politicians were controlling a 14-year-old girl’s body and future.”

She continued by recounting her own story about having an abortion at age 15:

“Here I was, sitting in Los Angeles in my beautiful office of my own late-night talk show. Soon, I would be driving my hybrid car to my beautiful f—— home, to kiss my two beautiful and healthy children and my husband who had taken the year off to parent so I could focus on my career. And I have all of this, all of it, because I was allowed bodily autonomy at 15.”

So, there she was, Busy Phillips, touting the amazing personal, selfish benefits she received because she was allowed to kill her unborn baby.

Phillips’ comments didn’t just rile up the traditional pro-life activists, though. She caught a lot of flack on Twitter from other working moms, including some famous ones.

Lila Rose, the founder and president of Live Action and The Lila Rose Show, tweeted:

“The only thing more morally and spiritually broken than a mother cheering over the death of her baby so she could have fame and wealth is the complicit men who goad her on. This is heartbreaking.”

Allie Beth Stucky, the host of the podcast Relatable, tweeted:

“Ask yourself: Does Busy Phillips seem like a well-adjusted, happy person? Does it honestly look like having an abortion led to peace & fulfillment for her? Or does she seem miserable, still desperate decades later to justify her poor choices.”

Liz Wheeler, the host of Tipping Point on One American News, tweeted:

“Actress Busy Phillips brags about her abortion at 15 years old. Now, she says, she drives an electric car because of that abortion. She traded a HUMAN BABY for an electric car. I feel sick to my stomach. NEVER let Hollywood tell you it’s worth it.”

Some people use their fame for good. Others are completely misguided and end up bragging about bad deeds. Guess which category Busy Phillips fits into?
